Drag the image below to look around! Getting some training flying a quadra-copter. These guys make some serious machines and they just happen to make this lil’ guy too. it runs about $150 and for $30 they have a micro-sd lo-fi camera you can add on. I know, I was surprised too… but at least it’s 60fps. This is a fun trick to save space and time. Get two different color backdrops, roll them together onto the same roll and easily switch between them! My example uses 9′ wide vinyl and it got a bit heavy so I changed to a PVC crossbeam. Here’s how:
I know there’s a million videos of the HD GoPro Hero being flown around by remote control helicopters, but since I wanted to show you what it looks like myself, and since I refuse to ever use pics or videos that I didn’t make myself, I had to make my own. This is probably not the Worst one ever made; the helicopter had an unbalanced rotor and editing was done on a computer from another decade, yet it’s still fun to see the amazing view from such a simple contraption. This video was taken in Mesa AZ last week. HavocArt has opened a studio right off Gregg st near Taylor in Columbia, South Carolina. Simple workshops and demos on Green Screen videography and basics on studio lighting are available as I put it all together.
I am currently (always) looking for help painting walls.
Although a full comprehensive review of this lens will follow this post, here is a quick look at the 10.5mm Nikkor fisheye. Below is an unedited sample image using a Nikon 300s with the 10.5mm. This image is courtesy of BlueRootsPhotography and features a night scene in portland Maine of Abbeth and Patrick juggling by the piers.
Shot this video when a fight broke out while enjoying a dinner at an otherwise excellent restaurant at Niagara Falls tonight. The HD Hero (original) gets only passing marks for this night time video due to:
This was shot at 720 and 60fps, with the full waterproof casing on and in a very dimly lit area. This is a very effective method to obtain macro shots from any EF or EF-S lens without losing your electrical connection for focus and metering and without distortions caused by other methods such as reversal rings and magnifiers. |
