We’re not in the habit of selling less-than-perfect photography gear, but it’s time to sell all the lenses that aren’t usually listed because of small defects or wear. These are deeply discounted lenses that work great and produce excellent pictures but have a small flaw, some cosmetic, some subjective. This 50mm 2.5 is a true 1:1 MACRO lens and takes great portraits too. It is actually physically lacking in functionality due to extensive use. The aperture is permanently fixed to wide-open at f2.5; not a bad thing unless you want some more depth of field for your close-ups. Attempting to change the aperture in your camera settings will be to no avail, and will likely generate an error. Still works great as an auto-focus macro lens but the signs of use on this bad boy are very apparent including on the glass itself. $125 OBO!

Well, as of May 2013 the State of South Carolina approved a retail location here, so we can offer Columbia locals a place to buy some of our new and used camera gear.
It’s currently the tiniest camera shop you’ve ever seen but if you’re in the area, stop by 1506 Gregg st, Columbia SC (we’re on the second floor!) We currently have a series of random Canon and Nikon lenses, a couple camcorders, lots of accessories; like lens caps and filters and some small studio lighting as well, equipped with stands and umbrellas.
Unfortunately, since we are very busy, it takes a while to list all our current items online, so stop by instead and see whats new! Feel free to contact us to make sure the studio is open, if you plan to stop by, we’re never more than few minutes away…
This is an external Microphone holder with built-in damper for the Panasonic AG DVX 100 model camcorders (DVX 100 A, B or P)
This holds the External XLR microphone on these camcorders, and may fit other models as well, please refer to the measurements and pictures.
It is in very good condition and I don’t see many signs of use at all, other than some dust. Includes all required hardware (screws).
The new Solar Powered version of our Time-Lapse Camera is under construction. The circuitry is all in and the solar panels are being tested and I am still looking for the best digital camera/sensor to use. The Nikon 4200 is a bust because of the inability to store a large number of images nor is there a manual mode to set exposure and focus. Stay tuned!
Have you ever wanted to record the change of the season, or to watch a plant grow or a tree lose all its leaves?
Did you get tired of snapping a picture every 5 minutes of the same thing for 6-8 weeks at a time, causing you to lose sleep, your sanity and your job?
Well now you can setup an installation anywhere you like and set it to record a scene at any interval you want! No daily maintenance needed.
This one runs off batteries which need to be changed every 800+ photos.
These photos are 10mp which is many times larger than the HD video you will render these into.
Stay tuned as we finish our Solar Powered version which will allow for months of worry free operation!
These are all for sale, they all work well and are in very good condition. Click the image for more detail and Contact Us if you are interested in a particular one. Prices will be added soon for each item.
Here at HavocArt the tiny sensored cameras that make up the super-zoom category are not high on our list of recommended camera gear but this little Olympus has snuck it’s way into our everyday camera bag so many times it has to receive it’s due appreciation.
The appeal is that wonderful Super Zoom. You just can’t beat zooming hundreds of yards closer to something when you’re in a situation that prevents you from moving your feet to get closer with a standard lens on a DSLR in case you forgot to lug your $3000 telephoto lens with you.
So the pictures aren’t always going to be mind blowing and some colors tend to get washed out but I took this to a baseball game where we were sitting as high up as they would allow and tried to capture the action which was too far to see without this camera and was pleasantly surprised. The pictures came out real clear and I could even catch the ball being pitched as it was being swung at with out losing a ton of light or clarity from that far distance.
(these baseball photos haven’t been cropped or edited in any way, just the watermark slapped on them.)
Some other remarks about this camera:
Takes AA batteries which is huge relief when you don’t want to worry about another custom charger battery combo to lug around
Takes $$Xd cards but there is an adapter for XD – micro-sd which I will include with this camera.
Plenty of manual features to enjoy being creative with your shots
One of our favorite brands. This hefty DSLR shoots at 1/4000 of a second, has an ISO of up to 1600 and still allows for mounting of older manual focus Pentax lenses with full use of the their aperture ring.
This one here is in like new condition and comes with the external flash you see in the picture.
The lens is a f/2.8 and is a medium telephoto, zooming from 50-135mm and also is in like new condition.
This Sony Alpha A-350 is a 14.2 MP DLSR that can utilize Sony and Konica-Minolta auto-focus lenses. It has an adjustable screen which flips up or down for tricky shooting situations.
This one is in excellent condition, with a choice of 18-70mm, 35-80mm or 80-200mm Auto Focus Lenses. This camera comes with a battery, a charger, memory card and neck-strap. Lenses also come with lens caps.
This includes the original Sony camera retail box.
The A-350 takes CF cards and one will be included with this camera.
This is an early 1970’s Minolta SR-T 101 in great working condition.
The action is excellent;
The self-timer works;
The fabric shutter is pristine and both Flashes Fire.
Minolta first came out with the SR-T 101 in 1966 and the second generation in 1970-1973 includes changes seen in this model.
The lens is a Minolta ROKKOR – PF 58mm 1.4, with clean snappy aperture blades as I tried to show in this clip of the lens diaphram opening and closing manually:

This lens is a wide angle (not fish-eye) which boasts a 90 degree field of view on full-frame digital Cameras. (also of course Film Cameras)
To compare, the widest you can get in a Canon EF Lens for less than $1000 is the 17-40mm which is ~$600 used to ~$780 new and it’s f4 at 19mm, while this one is f3.5 which means twice as bright!
There is also the Canon EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 which you can usually pick up for less than $400 but the angle of view is smaller i.e. more zoomed in.
Basically for the money this is a handy little gem that can be picked up for less than $200 and delivers a great picture that’s compatible with your new 5d iii or even your Rebel- digital or film.
